WatchESPN for iPad now serves up stats, scores and on-demand clips via a live toolbar

Launched way back in 2011, WatchESPN for iOS has delivered a slew of ESPN channels to mobile devices across the US. And today, the app has been given a facelift.

Now, in addition to serving up access to ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3 and ESPN Goal Line/Buzzer Beater, a live toolbar has been introduced to the iPad incarnation, which presents stats, scores and on-demand video clips from ESPN.com – without the user having to navigate away from any live-stream they’re watching.
