Sure, it’s a narrow use-case, but The Facts of Life is an iPad app to help you have “the talk” – that is, explaining to a child where babies come from.
The $1.99 app was created by child psychologist Dr. Jillian Roberts. The content is aimed at fairly young kids, though an adolescent version is in the works. In fact, Roberts is planning a whole series, including apps for discussing puberty with boys and girls.
You can chalk this up to the inevitable extension of the “There’s an app for that” mentality, but these types of apps certainly deserve to exist. It would, however, be nice to see more interactivity in the app beyond the simple navigation and quiz.
