Eventbrite overhauls its iOS app with new ‘discover view’ layout and Facebook events integration

Fresh from tapping into Facebook’s new feature to buy tickets, event planning service Eventbrite has give its iOS app the “biggest and best update yet” to increase personalization and integration with Facebook.

The headline addition is a new ‘discover view’ that brings a refreshed layout to improve discovery, and users can now connect to their Facebook account to see which events their friends are attending. The new view layout serves up a mixture of events based on those that have been previously attended, and those that are popular in or around a user’s locale, helping it “mix it up.”

The update has changed the view somewhat but the options to search and browse by category are still easily located at the top of the app.

Responding to user feedback, Eventbrite has introduced a feature that will show tickets that have been purchased for a user in the app. That’ll be particular useful for those attending events for work, or in groups, who didn’t buy their ticket themselves.

You can grab the update at the link below. There are no changes to the Android app for now.
