We first covered way back in 2009, a then-new online video magazine all about contemporary culture, featuring quality content on art & design, fashion, lifestyle, travel, ideas and ecology.

The London-based publication has defined its own niche “in a similar space to New York City’s Thrillist, Flavorpill and Urban Daddy”, as we put it when it launched a new event series with London’s Soho House back in June.

Now, is bringing its culture-ific platform to the palm of your hand with a new iOS app, which is setting out to showcase the digital magazine’s editorial videos.

Users can stream a range of content including interviews with established and emerging talents, while diving behind the scenes to see interview with artists, and it also provides city guides for the “culturally discerning” traveler.

From our initial tinkerings, has done a good job of reeling in a LOT of content for this launch, and if you’re one who likes to discover new content curated by others, this is one app that’s worth checking out.

“With the success of our Nokia app, which has already had over 300,000 global downloads, we wanted to bring content to iOS users giving them a comprehensive way to discover, watch and share cultural developments from across the globe,” explains CEO Constantin Bjerke.

Optimized for all iOS devices, the app is pretty straight forward to use, and doesn’t hide the content behind any bells or whistles – as soon as you launch the app, you’re taken straight in to the thick of it.

Additionally, you can either stream videos or ‘download’ them to watch later, while the ‘favourites’ feature enables you to create playlists.

The app is available to download for free now. | iOS
