Infinite WordPress lets you manage unlimited self-hosted sites from a single admin panel

Infinite WordPress lets you manage unlimited self-hosted sites from a single admin panel

There are over 74 million WordPress sites online right now, half of which are self-hosted, and out of all these sites, many users of the CMS handle more than one install at a time. WordPress, with all its strengths, doesn’t cater to these users, and this is why the team behind Infinite WordPress created a free tool to make it easier to maintain multiple self-hosted WordPress sites all at once.

Infinite WordPress features one-click updates for WP, plugins and themes, plugin and theme management (bulk install and bulk activate & deactivate) and instant backups all under a single master login. If these features sound familiar, it’s because we covered a similar service back in February called WP Remote, created by humanmade.

Both services are worth checking out, but Infinite WordPress is actually more full-featured, as WP Remote doesn’t support cold plugin and theme installs or bulk actions. Most importantly, Infinite WordPress is installed on your own server, which means there’s slightly more work involved — in exchange for controlling your own data.

One of the most exciting features of Infinite WordPress, one which is coming soon, is the ability to extend its core capabilities with paid add-ons. These add-ons will integrate with 3rd party hosts and analytics, and have the potential to turn this useful tool into an indispensable one.
