Twitter releases update to iPhone app, fixing Mention and Interaction refresh bug

Twitter has today released an update to its iPhone app that fixes a harsh bug with Mentions and Interactions that caused those items to stop refreshing. The only previous fix was to delete your Twitter app entirely from the device and reinstall it.

Fixes an issue where some users were not receiving updates for Mentions and Interactions in the Connect tab.

We had been seeing reports of this problem crop up over the last few days, with many Twitter users complaining that their @mentions, favorites, retweets and more were not refreshing, no matter how many times they pulled and released Twitter’s patent-pending mechanism.

The fix brings the new Twitter app up to version 4.1.3 and it is available in the App Store now or as an update. Twitter has also fixed this bug in its Android app.
