It’s been a pretty busy year for Spotify, what with its US launch and deep Facebook integration, but now it has announced that its BlackBerry app is available to anyone with a compatible BlackBerry handset.
The app was first announced back in October but was available only as a preview for users who wanted to give it an early try and provide feedback. To download the app now, you just need to point the browser on your phone to m.spotify.com and follow the installation instructions.
Compatible phones include: 9780 Bold, 9700 Bold, 9300 Curve, 9000 Bold, 8520 Curve. Currently the app only supports phones running on GSM networks, meaning that CDMA-network phones and the Torch 9800 are not compatible.
BlackBerry is the sixth mobile platform to get a native Spotify app, following iOS, Android, Symbian, Windows Phone and Palm.
