Prezi Shows Off Collaborative Presentation Editing in Google Wave

Prezi Shows Off Collaborative Presentation Editing in Google Wave

Prezi, the unconventional “zooming presentation editor,” built a cool collaborative editing and presentation Google Wave Gadget that they are showing off at Google I/O.

Embedded in a Google Wave, the synchronous presentation functionality allows multiple people to remotely watch your presentation as you control it. And the collaborative editor works much like the Wave text editor, allowing non-locking, realtime collaborative editing between multiple parties on multiple devices.

Though there’s no timeline for when or even if this will be available. It’s a demonstration of the concept, which when released, may or may not be built on top of Wave.

Here’s a video (sorry a little rough, taken on an iphone) of Balint Gabor, a developer at Prezi, showing it off. I love it!
