Apple News got some exciting updates today at WWDC, including an improved user interface that makes it easier to discover new content, trending stories and a subscription feature that could bring all your content to one device.
The most notable change has to be in the re-design of the News home screen. Now, you’ll be met with a decidedly newspaper-looking homepage that features large images and text atop the page, as well as featured stories (curated by Apple’s team of editors) and a section for trending content that allows you to see what’s hot.

Aside from the design changes — which are a good deal better than previous versions — the most exciting feature has to be the addition of subscriptions.
Now, you can access your favorite subscription-only newspaper or magazine content right on your iOS device. Instead of relying on two mediums (digital and print) or two devices (iPhone and Kindle) Apple now provides a unique opportunity to digest all your content from one device.
