iFixit takes apart the new iMac with Retina display

It has 14.7 million pixels, but none of those tiny dots of color could stop the folks over at iFixit from ripping apart the 27-inch beast.

What the team found was that the new iMac is five on its repairability scale of 1 to 10. That seems about right as an all-in-one machine. Still, it’s nice to see that the hard drive and CPU are still replaceable if you have the know how and patience.
