Apple now shipping Retina MacBook Pros in 5-7 days in the US and UK, down from 1-2 weeks

Once again, Apple is barely able to keep up with demand for a newly launched product — this time, the Retina Macbook Pro. Back in mid-July, shipping times improved from 3-4 weeks to 2-3 weeks, and recently moved down to 1-2 weeks.

Now that number has been lowered a third time to just 5-7 days in the US and UK.

And so, if you happen to be in the market for a higher end, high resolution laptop, this one’s just about ready for you. The notebook starts at a steep $2,199 and is only available with a 15-inch screen.
