Following on from news that Apple had begun refunding disgruntled Final Cut Pro X customers, the Cupertino-based company has officially addressed the matter by publishing a new FAQ section on its website, 9to5mac has revealed.
Apple’s introduction doesn’t quite go as far as acknowledging that many of its customers hated the new update, instead it notes that it had “generated a lot of discussion in the pro video community” whilst impressing “many pro editors”:

The FAQ attempts to ease concerns of those who have purchased Final Cut Pro X who are worried about the software’s lack of support for older file versions and list of confusing features. It lists a number of common questions that the company has received, detailing answers in specific categories.

Video editors will be able to take away some conclusive answers from the guide; whether they will appease them remains to be seen. However, Apple has noted that it will drop another large release, adding a reference to it in a response to a question on multicam editing:
Not yet, but it will. Multicam editing is an important and popular feature, and we will provide great multicam support in the next major release.
We noted in our report yesterday that because Final Cut Pro X launched exclusively on the Mac App Store, Apple will be able to push updates regularly and more publicly, as it tries to sway opinion.
