Last weekend, the first TechOlympics happened in Cincinnati, with over 400 top high school students from 39 schools in Greater Cincinnati area competing in various contests and attending some excellent sessions related to technology, given by various industry veterans in the area.
I was invited to speak in a session around “More to life than Google” and that went really well. There was so much more enthusiasm for innovative services from the students than I imagined – this bodes well for innovation in general and for small companies trying to make a difference is the search engine space.
I thought I would pass on to your readers what I shared with the students.
