Tumblr is in the process of testing Twitter integration with Twitter which allow you to automatically send your Tumblr posts to Twitter. A nice little touch is that you are able to toggle the option on/off via the bookmarklet when sharing.
The new feature also adds a “show Twitter updates in my Dashboard” option which shows you all your twitter updates from within Tumblr! They do point out however that it makes much more sense to only enable this option if you are following a small number of people on Twitter – I tried it with my 1000+ followers and it was intensely slow to load the age.
