Internships at The Next Web: Fancy joining us?

Internships at The Next Web: Fancy joining us?

There is a saying some people hear all too often when applying for their dream job.. “You haven’t got any relevant experience”. This is typically followed by people saying to themselves “But I need a chance to get experience, to HAVE the experience!”. This is usually when people resort to banging their head against a wall or another inanimate object in frustration.

Well, bang your head no more! The Next Web is looking for new Interns! Come get that experience with us!

If you get the gig,  you can get experience in diverse field such as online news editing, digital publishing, social media, Web design, event management, sales and marketing, and much more. Behind the scenes at The Next Web is a busy, 24-hour news room with team members around the world, from the west coast of the USA to as far east as Singapore. You’ll be part of that team, working a few hours per week to help us out with tasks such as:

  • Working with TNW’s editorial team on breaking technology news from around the world
  • Managing, monitoring and publishing on our social media channels
  • Creating cool innovative TNW marketing campaigns
  • Generating new sales leads and closing deals with big brands
  • Creation, management and promotion of large tech events

What you absolutely must have is perfect written English, a passion for technology and/or geek culture, a love of online content and the drive to make what you do a big success. Oh, and we’re flexible about when you work, though ideally you’ll be available for a few hours per week during the daytime in your local timezone.

Sound awesome? Good. The next step is to fill in our application form.  So, what are you waiting for? Good luck!
