9 tech companies join London Stock Exchange’s new two-year ELITE support program

9 tech companies join London Stock Exchange’s new two-year ELITE support program

The London Stock Exchange has today announced that nine technology companies are among the first 19 businesses to join its 24 month ‘ELITE’ support and training program.

The nine tech companies joining the ELITE program, which launched today, are Amplience, GrazeIntrinsic, Medic Animal, Money Dashboard, Naked Wines, Post Code Anywhere, Test Plant and Unruly Media.

The scheme will provide each of these with “business support tools”, access to group advisors and investors, and education services provided by Imperial College Business School. The program also has the backing of trade bodies like the CBI and Tech City, among others.

“Small and medium sized businesses are the lifeblood of London’s economy providing employment for over 50 per cent of working Londoners. It’s vital that ambitious young companies are supported as they grow so I warmly welcome the launch of ELITE, which is set to provide practical help and advice,” Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, said.

Each of the businesses were chosen to take part in ELITE based on their ability to generate revenue and the potential for rapid expansion and growth. The idea is that the program will provide them with the support and tools required for more achieving sustainable, longer-term growth and attracting potential investors.
