Ticketmaster launches new UK ‘deals’ website

Ticketmaster has launched a new UK ‘deals’ website, tmDeals, offering consumers ticket deals across every aspect of entertainment, reports New Media Age.

Daily Deal websites have become all the rage in recent times, with sites such as Groupon, Living Social and more recently Google Offers, all fighting to bring knock-down prices to the masses.

Ticketmaster’s new venture covers a wide spectrum of entertainment, including theater, music, sport and comedy. When you enter the site you’re met with this screen, which asks you to set your location to one of 6 regions across the UK. You can instantly enter your email address to receive emails automatically:

Chris Edmonds, managing director of Ticketmaster UK, said:

“We are in the ideal position to be able to offer consumers great deals on tickets to a wide range of events. Given the strength of our digital infrastructure and consumer database resources, we can tailor our service to match each and every fan’s needs, setting us apart from the competition.”

The website will also have a dedicated Facebook and Twitter account to publicize the latest deals.
