The Difference EngineSeed accelerator programmes like Y Combinator hold huge appeal to startups looking for intensive training in launching a company, but what’s it like actually on the course?

UK-based seed accelerator programme The Difference Engine is now in full swing and, taking its cue from Techstars.tv, is following the trials and tribulations of the nine teams taking part via a series of videos.

The Difference Engine is a full time 13 week seed accelerator scheme which combines investment capital of £20,000 with intensive mentoring and coaching (see our previous coverage here). The first programme started last month and is running from Boho One located in Middlesbrough with teams from across the UK and Europe involved.
