admob offices AdMob Has Served 200 Billion AdsAdMob has announced that they have served a total of 200 billion mobile ads since they launched, 100 billion of them coming in the last 9 months.

Acquired by Google (and still waiting on FTC approval) AdMob also said that they have expanded their website into 9 new languages, opened an office in Singapore, released new iPhone and Android ad units, upgraded their publisher and advertiser tools, and have grown by more than 160 people in the last 9 months (almost certainly mainly sales people.

While Google/AdMob continues to wait on the acquisition’s approval, they are also preparing for the inevitable collision course against Apple’s iAd mobile advertising platform, which the iPhone maker announced during it’s iPhone OS 4.0 press event.

Right now, however, AdMob is clearly the market leader for serving ads in Android and iPhone apps.
