Posterous today has resolved one of the main issues it had in its quest to become the blogging platform of choice: today it finally added the ability to save drafts.

Stating the obvious, saying, “Posting isn’t always spontaneous and wireless connections can be wonky,” Posterous on its blog just now announced the new feature (it’s not yet available in the iPhone app, however) and says that all you need to do to share a draft with friends is to send a link (we’re not sure if that means you have to be logged into Posterous or not, but you probably do we’re guessing). Also, for group sites:

If you are part of a group site, all your contributors can see your draft when they login, but only you and your site’s admin can edit and publish your draft.

Good – and necessary – news from Posterous.
