Virtual Reality is cool again thanks to Oculus Rift, but beyond gaming it’s finding uses that you might not have imagined.

The latest documentary from VICE‘s MOTHERBOARD team visits a clinic in Los Angeles, where Virtual Reality simulations are used to treat war veterans with PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder). Host Jody Mitic, a former master sniper for the Canadian military, explores how these systems treat a serious mental condition, and discovers how they could be used beyond the military.
