Check-in on Foursquare, keys no longer necessary to open doors

Check-in on Foursquare, keys no longer necessary to open doors

Brooklyn developers Erin Sparling and Nicholas Hall decided to take check-ins to a new level. In this video below you’ll see Sparling, Hall and their friends recently coded a hack for Foursquare that allows users to unlock doors by checking in. They will host a party on New Year’s Eve where anyone can check-in to open their door themselves. I assume the party is BYOB.

Is the future of Foursquare in home security? Will we one day be using Foursquare to start our cars and “check-in” to hotels?

(To the tune of Daft Punk) Check out this link to enjoy more of their work here.
