I knew a girl who did something similiar. She was dating him for about a week and wanted to test him. She sent love notes and flowers from a “secret admirer” for about a week and then asked him if he’d meet her at a certain place and time. He didn’t go and when she told him that it was her testing him he dumped her.
So yes, there are some women who would do something like that.
