Book vs E-Book

There are a few mis-statements. With an ebook, you can lend it to a friend and still have it, so there’s no worries about it being lost, damaged, or never returned.

Yes, ebooks are overpriced by places like Amazon and soon, Apple. If you pay those prices, you are probably too stupid to read anyway. I have almost 900 ebooks and the few I did pay for were at most, $2.00.

Finally, an ebook reader or even an iPad are also a waste of money. I have a 10 y/o tablet PC that does more than an iPad, cost less, is more rugged, has user-replaceable batteries, USB port, a genuine GPS receiver, shows videos, flash content, and of course, has WiFi for email and web surfing.

Cost? Under $300. Most netbooks and laptops will do as much or more.
