Steve Jobs has a Flash enabled iPad! [photo]

By Boris Follow Boris on twitter on March 8th, 2010

Steve Jobs attended the Oscars last night where Apple showed the first Apple iPad commercial.

A photo was taken of Jobs walking the red carpet which was quickly doing the rounds on the web.

We decided to run some CIA style image enhancements on the photo and found out that Flash WILL run on the iPad. The result blew us away. Steve Jobs carries an iPad around with Flash running on it!

I call BS, but I would hope he's not actually walking around on the red carpet with an iPad in his hands. That's pretty embarrassing since the night and event was not about him and his new toy.

If you remember, when Apple had their unveiling of the iPad, Steve was shown demoing the NYTimes website that includes Flash video, and it was playing normally then.

On the 64 x zoom image the hands doesn't look right. The thumbs are on the wrong site. Also the fingers come from behind the iPad. So that's not Steve who is holding it ;)

That's not an iPad. It's Steve's blingy Prada clutch handbag for his iPhone and lip gloss.

There´s some serious debunking going on here :-)
On a more serious note… have a look at this article about why the iPad can´t use flash (if it were available):

I call BS. I'm not saying it couldn't happen, I'm only saying the story seems fictional. If Steve wanted the iPad to run Flash it would, but I don't think he wants to give in to Adobe and he ultimately wants Flash to go away since it's not necessary for a good mobile experience.

Maybe he needs Flash for this one:

Fake or not, surely it is the icon of Flash SA (Stand Alone) to play 'Apple-desktop-executables'. Not meaning the iPad Safari's browser is enabled with Flash Player.
