The Secret Life of a (Computer) Mouse

The Secret Life of a (Computer) Mouse

If you could see what your mouse did on your screen all day, what would it look like?

One designer, Anatoly Zenkov, recorded his mouse movements (lines) and stops (circles) after using Photoshop for a few hours. He used a java applet you can download for Mac and PC. Simply let it run in the background, and use commands “S” to save the image and “R” to restart.

If you’re a developer or designer, you should definitely consider downloading the applet — it could be quite useful in designing interfaces and if nothing else, it looks really cool. Comment below and share some of your mouse trails with us!
