Cudos to the CEO for not panicking and taking it with humor :)
Haha! Atleast the CEO was nice about it, but honestly who in there right mind is going to “attempt” to break the screen on a mobile phone?
I guess they didn’t whack the phone on something hard while they were working on the prototype. Seems like something that should’ve occurred to them.
I still want one…
they didnt think someone would whack the screen
That video is quality!! Although you hear loads of claims about rugged mobile phones, this guy shot his with a shotgun?! http://www.isitrugged.co.uk
That’s brilliant. The CEO should have just handed him his free (and broken) phone right there.
I was rather wondering why he didn’t…
One USP – it had one USP…
FAIL
Last year in Barcelona I went to their booth, but I was interested in a different thing than their ‘unbreakable’ phone…
LOL. :)
I saw the same demo on TWiT.TV and they hammered the crap out of it, and it didn’t break – funny to see though
That was awesome. He broke the unbreakable phone. I guess that means he gets a new one!
During PEPCOM at the Mobile World Congress, eight tech reporters put Sonim's newest phone, the Spirit XP2, through a torture test. We worked with them to produce videos of the tests. Here's a link http://www.sonimtech.com/video.
