Packlink offers individual and SMB customers a fast and easy way to compare prices and book parcel deliveries. The company partners with the world’s top couriers and integrates with their booking and parcel tracking systems.

Originally launched in Spain in 2011, it has been growing their business at an amazing rate, seeing high international growth over the past two years.

Speaking about the company’s win, its founder Ben Askew-Renaut said:

Anyone who’s worked on launching an idea into what we all call a ‘startup’ – from dreaming it, to defining it, to hiring and growing a team to build it and re-build it again – knows what a roller-coaster and juggling act it is. We’re very excited and grateful that TNW and everyone who voted noticed our efforts,  running a very fast marathon to get to where we are today. The “Fastest Growing Startup in Spain” award is definitely the merit of our very committed international team.

Competition was though, and the runners-up in Spain are certainly also deserving of recognition:

Tech5 is an online initiative – co-hosted by Adyen – that aims to identify Europe’s fastest-growing young tech companies. Finalists are chosen by their growth rate between 2012 and 2015 based on actual revenue, and employee data. Each company must offer its own scalable tech-driven product or service, be less than five years old and must have revenues of more than €200,000.

Spain’s Tech5 marks the end of the country stage of the competition. Packlink will be joining the other five country winners, and the wildcard participant, onstage at TNW Conference Europe for the final event, where the overall winner of Tech5 2015 will be announced!
