Motorola has begun rolling out Android 4.4.2, the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, to Moto G handsets in the UK.

The upgrade from version 4.3 introduces SMS support for Hangouts, an improved dialer app and white, redesigned status and navigation bars, among other aesthetic refinements.

We’re yet to receive the update on our in-house handset, although Motorola says it’ll be releasing “over the next week”. You should be prompted when the new firmware is available – otherwise dive into Settings -> About Phone -> System Updates to check manually.
