Wuaki.tv, the fledgling movie and TV streaming platform owned by Rakuten, is today launching an Xbox 360 app for its UK subscribers.
The service, only available in the UK, Spain and Andorra for now, offers two different payment options: unlimited streaming with a monthly subscription, similar to Netflix and LoveFilm Instant, or the option to rent and purchase digital titles individually, akin to iTunes and Vdio.
So. Much. Tech.
Some of the biggest names in tech are coming to TNW Conference in Amsterdam this May.
Wuaki.tv launched iPad and Android apps earlier this month, appeasing the majority of its mobile users. Adding support for a leading video game console such as the Xbox 360, however, is vital if the service has any chance of taking over the living room in the UK.
To sweeten the deal, Wuaki.tv is dropping the price of Wuaki Plus, its unlimited streaming package, from £5.99 to £2.99 per month for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Is that enough to tempt you away from Netflix?
