Product Hunt joins the automation game with its first Slack-based bot

Bots are all the rage, you don’t need us to tell you twice, so today Product Hunt is getting into the automation game with its first bot for Slack.

Called Kittybot, the tool helps Slack teams keep up with news and trends in their industry. For example, you can subscribe to categories like Smart Home or Developer Tools and Kittybot will bring up new Product Hunt posts that may interest you.

To add the bot, just go to the landing page, click Add to Slack, and choose the categories you want to keep up with. If Kittybot isn’t show you enough things or surfacing too many, you can adjust the subscribed categories later as well.
