Karma changes its mind on unlimited data again, swaps Neverstop for Pulse

Karma changes its mind on unlimited data again, swaps Neverstop for Pulse

Just months after rejiggering its unlimited data plan, Karma has made another change. Instead of being throttled after a 15GB threshold, you can now buy packages of data with hard caps.

Dubbed Pulse, Karma’s new plan will provide you with data plans in 5GB, 10GB or 20GB options. They’ll cost $40, $75 and $140 respectively, and the company is charging $15 per gigabyte if you go over your plan data.

You can cancel any time, and even step your plan up (permanently or temporarily) mid-cycle if you know you’ll go over. Sharing your connection with those around you will still net you $1 in your Karma account.

If Pulse doesn’t suit you, Karma is keeping its pay-as-you-go Refuel plan as a secondary option.

For those currently on Neverstop, Karma won’t be grandfathering you in. When your current cycle is up, you’ll be migrated to the 5GB Pulse plan automatically.
