Android’s ‘do not disturb’ alarm feature is missing again

Android’s ‘do not disturb’ alarm feature is missing again

If you’re using your Android device for alarms, you may want to double check your settings. In Android 6.0.1, the ‘do not disturb until next alarm’ option has gone missing.

In Android 5.0, users were given options for granularly controlling their notifications, with Android 5.1 adding the ‘do not disturb until next alarm’ option.

Android 6 removed that feature, which was re-added in Android 6.0.1 — but is now gone again.

According to a Reddit thread dedicated to this issue, some even saw it disappear while it was on-screen.

It’s not clear how widespread the issue is. Android Central reports it’s happening on a Nexus 6P, while the Reddit thread also points to a Nexus 5. Luckily, the latest Android build isn’t the most widely used one, but if you’re on it, make sure you don’t miss anything important because of Android’s fussy alarm system.
