Watch: 13-year old entrepreneur Jordan Casey on the key to his success

Do you sometimes feel depressed looking at people much younger than you who have already achieved great things?

Well, this kid will make you feel inadequate for sure. Jordan Casey is (now) 15 and already has his own company called Casey Games, which is an independent mobile game company. It’s also one of the most successful in Ireland.

We’ve just added Jordan’s talk from TNW Conference Europe 2013 and you can watch it here for free.

He learned how to program by himself when he was nine and started his own company when he was 12. On top of his mobile games, he also tries to encourage other kids to code and started an initiative called “Getting kids to code”.

Casey works with Irish entrepreneurs and his main goal is to get programming into Irish schools and thinks it could be the solution to high unemployment in Ireland. Getting kids to code from an early age could be part of the solution to a lack of developers.

So what does Jordan thinks that his key points to success are?

Part of it is definitely his age, because he gets a lot of publicity, like being featured on the front page of Times. It is also his programming skills because his games are of a good quality.

But what is the most important key to his success?

Watch Jordan’s talk to find out. And then check out more interviews at TNW Video.
