Rdio partners with AEG to personalize your music based on your favorite live artists

Music streaming service Rdio is joining hands with AEG’s event ticketing business AXS to let users in the US tune into music from their favorite live artists when they buy passes to a show.

Users who purchase concert tickets on AXS’ site will get free 30-day trial subscriptions to Rdio Unlimited, which unlocks on-demand access to the streaming service’s complete library spanning 32 million tracks.

In addition, users will be notified when artists they’ve seen live release new music on Rdio’s platform. They’ll also enjoy personalized content tailored according to their concert history. AXS will allow listeners to extend their Rdio Unlimited subscriptions through their billing mechanism.
