Yahoo redesigns 7 of its sites covering sports, movies, music, TV, games, weather and celebrities

Yahoo has redesigned seven of its specialized sites on the Web today:  Yahoo Sports, Yahoo MoviesYahoo MusicYahoo TVYahoo omg!Yahoo Games and Yahoo Weather.

Yahoo Sports has been tweaked to give readers a more personalized experience, including premium content from in-house experts, live scores and ongoing games tied to users’ Fantasy Football accounts.

Individual sports are listed down the left-hand side of the page, filtering which news articles and headlines are shown in the central feed, as well as the fixtures summarized in the top ticker.

The revamped design carries over into other products such as Yahoo Movies, which now offers a simpler interface for finding theater showtimes.

One of the biggest changes is arguably to Yahoo Weather though – it’s now consistent with the look and feel of the iOS and Android apps, displaying high resolution, full screen images shot by members of the Flickr community.
