Leonard Brody explains how the separation of the virtual and physical self is changing human behavior

Entrepreneur, venture capitalist and author Leonard Brody believes that the technological advances in the last 20 years have changed human behavior more than the rest of history combined.

How so, given the rise of the printing press, the industrial revolution and a whole other developments in the last 1,000 years alone?

The difference, Brody claims, is the separation of the virtual and physical self. The ability for someone to “diverge” as two human beings, each with a distinct persona and history, was once the realm of science fiction.

Now, with the rise of the Internet and mobile devices, that paradigm change has become a reality.
