In one year, Fab Europe grows to 24 countries and 3.5M customers, making up 30% of global sales

It’s been 365 days since Fab first graced Europe with its presence and in honor of the occasion, the company has released some interesting statistics about its journey. Perhaps what stuck out the most was that Fab is available in 24 countries on the continent and its customer base has increased from 150,000 in 2012 to now 3.5 million.

Making the move to Europe has definitely paid off for this e-commerce company. As a whole, it has seen 30 percent of its sales come just from the continent — and that’s from a company that only started out in Austria and Germany a year ago.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal last year, Fab CEO Jason Goldberg said that he’s interested in focusing on bringing its two markets (the US and Europe) to profitability. It was during that time when he said that Europe would be a big part of Fab’s business and is also trailing the US by a year.

Just a note, Fab also recently updated its iOS and Android apps to bring better navigation, discovery, and profiles. These changes were made as the company saw 30 percent of its sales coming from mobile devices.
