The company will incorporate both SocialBrando’s Facebook advertising platform and team, integrating the firm completely, thus making it Socialbakers’ tenth international office.
The SocialBrando team, including CEO Mario Francesevic and CTO Andrej Bobos, is joining Socialbakers to develop the latter’ new Ad Insights and Ad Analytics products.
The integration of SocialBrando’s platform with Socialbakers’ solutions is meant to help marketers understand which target audience they are (or should be) reaching, how much it costs them and how effective their social media campaigns really are.
Socialbakers is in a position to make this kind of purchase and beef up its product line through acquisitions rather than organically thanks to a recent $6 million investment from Index Ventures.
According to Netocratic, the deal involved a mix of cash and stock.
