We break a lot of news about German startup incubator Rocket Internet around here (case in point: its Southeast Asia-focused Zappos clone ZALORA just landed investment from JP Morgan), which is apparently drawing attention from…its wooden furniture supplier.
This message just hit my inbox (only slightly redacted):
Hello, my name is GUY WHO EMAILED ME WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED, I come from FURNITURE STORE THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED in Central Java – Indonesia.
We have sent 3 containers of Wooden Furniture and they have arrived in Istanbul Port since early of this month (September) and we are still waiting their payment. But when we send them email or contact them through their office number or mobile, there’s no answer.
So, could you please inform them to settle the payment soon or you can advise us how to reach them?
Many thanks for your help and your cooperation.
Kind Regards, GUY WHO EMAILED ME WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED
Sure thing. Rocket Internet Turkey, we know you’re winding down your operations, but those containers aren’t going to pay for themselves dudes.
You’re welcome, GUY WHO EMAILED ME THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED.
