With an aim to give entrepreneurship and startups a boost in the country, the Entrepreneurship Cell, a student-body at Indian Institute Technology – Kharagpur (IIT K), will organize the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES 2010) on January 15-17, 2010. GES will host six international competitions including the first-ever Clean Technology Challenge alongwith the Start-up Camp and VC Pitch.

Global Entrepreneurship Summit ,GES is a annual flagship event, one of the biggest entrepreneurial platforms for academicians, new-age entrepreneurs, eminent business personalities, venture capitalists and the students to gather at one place and share their entrepreneurial endeavours and experiences, and to pledge to take entrepreneurship to greater scales.
The IITs have always been accussed of nuturing brilliant brains and pushing them abroad with lucrative jobs prospects.
