Google today launched Street View in Peru and expanded coverage in Chile with over 21,000 miles of imagery. You can check out the new additions yourself over on Google Maps.
The launch today means Street View exploration is now in more than 3,000 cities across 51 countries. Oh, and in case you want to go beyond national borders, it also covers parts of the Arctic and Antarctica.
Google’s regular updates to Street View make it hard for competitors like Microsoft to catch up. Bing Maps is great, but it’s simply not as comprehensive.
