Google introduces a blog specifically for Small Business

Given Google’s push into the world of brick and mortar with Google Places, it’s not surprising to hear that the giant is also focusing heavily on small businesses.

In order to help give small businesses ways to “grow bigger…faster”, Google has just introduced the Google Small Business Blog, based on the Small Business series done through the main Google Blog.

From the SMB:

We’ve received fantastic feedback about these posts, and realized that there’s a healthy appetite among small- and medium-sized business owners who want to know all about the latest web tools and tricks. Fortunately, we have lots more to share with you, too!

The overall goal of the SMB is to bring together ideas about Google products, features and projects that are specific to small business needs. Google assures us that all of the “regular” features (such as AdWords, Apps and Places) will continue to appear on their home blogs, which should keep the SMB pinpoint-focused on small business.
