Remember Google’s Quicksilver Like Desktop App? It Just Got An Upgrade And New Plugins.

In case you’d forgotten, Google has a pretty nifty desktop tool called Quick Search Box and while they recently called off development of the app for Windows, it seems development for the Mac is still progressing.

Today Google has updated the app bringing a host of plugins as well as an updated version of its existing Twitter plugin.

The number of plugins is still pretty limited but the current stable includes ones for delicious, Remember the Milk, a stock ticker and more.

Developers, details for creating a plugin of your own can be found here.

If you’re a Quicksilver addict, I still doubt you’ll end up trying this for more than a few minutes. It’s polished but you’ll miss the various Quicksilver themes and the availability of more plugins. If you’re not a Quicksilver user, try this now, it’s far less of a steep learning curve.
