From big names like SoundCloud and Spotify to high-profile up-and-comers like iZettle and Zeptolab, there are over 600 startups to choose from and voting’s open until mid-January. We’re told that since the poll opened yesterday, there have already been 7,000 votes.

The top 10 nominees will be recognised at on 22 January at the Europas in Berlin. As we’ve previously reported, this year’s event is being run by the acclaimed team behind the Dublin Web Summit and F.ounders, while the judging panel is chaired by Mike Butcher. Others on the panel this year include YouTube co-founder Jawed Karim, Wonga founder Errol Damelin, Bebo founder Michael Birch, Cloudflare founder Matthew Prince, and angel investor (and manager of Lady Gaga) Troy Carter. Robin Wauters, Jamillah Knowles and me represent The Next Web on the panel.

So, who are you going to choose as your winner? Voting is open now, so head over to the site, browse the names and help decide the People’s Choice!
