The Mobile 2.0 Europe Conference is set to uncover the future of mobile

With smartphone sales continuing to grow and applications extending what is achievable using a mobile phone, there is no wonder that there are more mobile-focused events and conferences that look into what makes mobile successful and suggests ways to monetize it.

One such event is Mobile 2.0 Europe – openIDEAS Barcelona, a two-day conference that will appeal to those interested in the next big things in mobile, whether its coming up with that next big idea or being the person to make that idea happen.

Having debuted in San Francisco in 2006, the Mobile 2.0 Conference comes to Barcelona in 2011 to explore the future of mobile development and innovation of the ever-changing mobile ecosystem, bringing in a diverse panel of presenters to guide attendees through discussions.

Mobile 2.0 Europe – openIDEAS will also see the latest edition of AppCircus, the competition that travels across 50 cities around the world to promote and reward the best apps, giving entrants the chance to get a nomination to the Mobile Premier Awards.

The event is held in the amazing Diagonal 00, head office of Telefónica I+D in Catalunya; the venue not only looks stunning but caters for the breakout sessions that run alongside the main event.
