GitHub’s 2016 events schedule is out, and includes two stops in Europe

GitHub has released its 2016 events schedule, which has five total events, including two new European soirees.

Everything kicks off April 5-6 at Git Merge in New York, followed by GitHub’s first Euopean event on May 11 — Satellite, which is being held in Amsterdam (home of The Next Web, natch).

After two stateside events (CodeConf in Los Angeles June 27-29 and GitHub Universe September 14-15 in San Francisco), GitHub travels back to Europe for CodeConf, which will be held in Copenhagen October 24-25.

It’s not the first time GitHub has traveled to Europe (Merge was in Paris last year), but holding two events there is a big deal. It’s calling Satellite “the first ever European conference in the GitHub Universe event series,” and balancing Copenhagen with Los Angeles for CodeConf is a nice touch.
