Codacy launches in beta to help developers stop worrying about code style

Codacy

Seedcamp-backed startup Qamine has today announced that it’s given itself the far catchier new name of Codacy and launched in private beta. It offers an automated code review tool for developers that continuously monitors code for problematic patterns, with the aim being to reduce the amount of time spent poring over code style.

Although it’s a private beta, Codacy says that it’s adding new users rapidly. The launch ties in with the announcement of a $500,000 seed round from Espírito Santo Ventures and Faber Ventures. If the app sounds up your street, you can apply to join the beta now. A full public launch is planned for January.
