Today.com redesigns, Typekit brings the fonts

Today.com redesigns, Typekit brings the fonts

Today.com launched a redesign this weekend in a big overhaul that features embedded fonts.

The Typekit blog notes that Today.com is using the service to serve Museo Sans, a font that has become wildly popular in recent months.

I’m honestly not a fan of the design in general, but the new Today.com marks another notch in Typekit’s belt of mainstream media customers, joining the New York Times and the Martha Stewart magazine.

More and more we’re seeing large mainstream websites use services like Typekit to move past the constraints of web typography. The use of non-standard fonts on the web is no longer just for designer websites and proof-of-concept designs.
