This week, our live design competition, Pixels of Fury, was in the UK for a showdown at the Village Underground. On Wednesday, September 10, contestants at the event went head-to-head to create original designs on the spot — and part of the challenge was to make inventive postage-stamp art.

To help provide inspiration, we rounded up some our favorite stamps. The highlights in our gallery below feature postage art from all over the globe, ranging from the 1960s to the present.
